Description
(DivX view reccomended)I created this animation for the main character of a Half-Life 2 mod I'm involved in (I'm also responsible for the rig). Her texture is not finalized yet, so instead I rendered her hit-boxes. I'm pretty satisfied with it, but I may have the head move a little more than it does now. The game is in third-person, so the player will be seeing this one a lot; any critique would be appreciated.

Really nice run! It's hard to make a nice run or walk cycle. You had it really really well done!

did you trace live action for the run?
It seems to float a little - a bit more weight. But definitely feminine.

I think it may depend on the character herself as to how her run should look. Without knowing that it's hard to critique any further.
It is a girly run but if she's meant to be badass like Lara Croft, then it's not quite right.

I thought it was a guy at first, but after reading that it's for a woman this seems very appropriate. I'm terrible at animation, and am quite impressed by this mate.

This looks really good! My only critique is that the head seems so still. The up and down movements of the entire body are barely there, so the head barely moves... I would add a little up and down movement to the entire body.. perhaps by just straightening the spine a little on the 'ups'. Good work!
