As with the other Floreem queens, their title comes from the female form of the term 'kumari ', meaning prince.

This card one of the six-person council of Floreem, the Knyaz (queen) Aeval. Quiet and reserved, she's been the original butting heads with fellow Knyazes Annis and Geror after joining the similarly-reserved King Gwylion and - surprisingly - Knyaz Geror herself - in voting back the disgraced Albverdich back into the council. Of course, his offered bounty for the struggling town of Floreem following a massive monsoon helped, but even Geror grew to regret her decision after seeing Albverdich's clearly unchanged behavior.

Upon Bonin meeting her, one thing is clear. She's got an endless font of reasons as to why the city's succumbing to its darkest desires, and it's not because of who they let in, but what they've kept out. Namely, their respect for their leaders, their deities, and their resiliency; Aeval thinks their dependence on others and reservations are what makes them seek refuge in literal audacity. And considering Bonin is seeing both her and the Fairy Kins moving to the same spot in the flower fields, she may have a bigger hand in this chaos than anyone thinks.
