These are all illustrations I built for my buddy to animate in After Effects for a project we were hired for. Unfortunately the art direction pulled a 180 and now looks nothing like this, but I am still happy with these things.This is an imitation of the UPA style, cheap artsy animations from around the 50s and 60s. The style has gone on to influence a lot of animations - PowerPuff Girls being a huge example.

Haha, listening to jazz music when I saw this. It practically looked animated already, definitely got that old pop cartoons feel. Nice work, even if it's not in the final. C:

Think I saw some of these on your blog earlier. I absolutely adore how the man with the pipe is just chilling in Dracula's crypt. Sad thing they re-did the stuff because these ones look awesome.
