Description
Pumbaa is a warthog who becomes best friends with Timon (a meerkat) and Simba (a young lion). Pumbaa is a very likable character as he's truly loyal to Simba and very protective of Timon. He loves to eat grubs, and longs for friends who won't abandon him. He feels awkward when in crowds, which creates a problem he has with his stomach that causes him to flatuate. However, he displays child-like naivety which is sometimes is confused for stupidity, but actually, he comes up with some intelligent plans and insightful ideas, which Timon repeatedly denies or claims as his own.
