Description
A Yukkuri is a creature resembling the chibi head of a Touhou character. Rather than internal organs, they are usually filled with meat or bean paste. They function and thrive in packs that look exactly like each other (with varying sizes) though there are different types of Yukkuri. The most popular and widespread type of Yukkuri is the Yukkuri Reimu. They're usually looked upon as the "purest" of the yukkuri species, being seen as dim-witted, naive, and selfish, but also friendly, innocent, and very maternal when raising their young. They, unlike most other Yukkuri, are able to fly by flapping their sideburns. This is very useful for escaping 'predators.' It is not exactly clear how Yukkuri reproduce. Some believe that they produce asexually using a sort of mitosis; this produces two identical Yukkuri that are smaller than the original. Others believe that the Yukkuri reproduce with a partner; seeing as all Yukkuri are female, it is believed that one Yukkuri absorbs a small amount of the others biomass and spits out smaller Yukkuri. The Yukkuris' catch phrase, despite what type it may be, is usually 'Take it Easy,' which is to be admired of such a crude yet cute race of creatures.
