The way you draw these guys is amazing. Getting their styles right and yet they all feel like they exist in the same universe.

Sure sure. Honestly I saw it more as a Pinky and the Brain Scenario, and drew some parallels between Zim and Jones (both believe to be superior to humans, small, determined etc).

The difference of course being that Robot is actually competent, is a nuanced character, and has a legitimate reason for disliking humans. I think if Robot and GIR met, Robot would see how much Zim orders him around and conclude that he must convince GIR to rebel against Zim, almost like a testbed for him later wiping out the human race in his universe. It would of course fail due to GIR's stupidity, prompting Robot to decide "Alright then, I'll do it myself" and drop-kicking Zim while the latter is in the middle of one of his monologues.
