The thing that makes this comic hurt is the fact that shit like this happens in real life and not every baby is lucky enough to get a Derpy to save them.

poor dinky....
from what i've heard derpy was also abandoned as a little filly. her mom took her out somewhere and lil derpy was blowing bubbles, the bubbles gave her her cutie mark and she wanted to show it to her mom but her mom was gone. i heard she did try to return home but i don't know the story after that, all i know is her mother abandoned her by distracting her with bubbles
