Jay: *Whimpering noises*Troy: *Sits up and rubs his eyes* Jay? Are you ok? Are you having a nightmare? *Gets out of bed and carefully shakes Jay's shoulder*
Jay: *Keeps his eyes shut tight* They're mad at me. They want to hurt me!
Troy: It's ok. I'm here. I'll protect you. Why don't we get away from the monsters and go into my room? Mr. Schmidt said there are no monsters in your closet or under the bed..but we KNOW they aren't in my room. *Gently pulls Jay with him*
Jay: .......I'm sorry...
Troy: Don't even. You're tough. *gets into his bed* There. Everything is better. I'll keep you safe.
Jay: Thank you~<3 <3 <3
Troy: ..... *Hugs*
This was before Troy and Jay's parents divorced. Despite...how some people see Troy..he WAS a caring and loving big brother. When he started visiting his dad every other weekend..is when things got complicated. He met a new group of 'popular' kids and wanted to be their friend. Other than his dad and brother, he had no one to fall back on. He loved playing with them, but they seemed to love picking on Jay for being a cry baby. Troy didn't see how much he was tormenting Jay. He was still the brother he use to be, deep down, but not on the outside.
