Proposed "next step" design for the corps based in Rockford, ILIt must be the ultimate dream of any corps designer to work for this unit. No other corps possesses the power and essence of pagentry like the PHANTOM REGIMENT! When I first strated toying with the idea of designing for drum corps, my intital steps involved doodles of the Regiment. I am so glad they ditched the khaki, I sort of miss the all-black, but everyone loves the corps in white. There are some throwback elements present, such as the belt-style strap, but a lot of newer ideas appear as well.

Pretty cool design. I remember seeing pictures of the khaki, but I could never find out what years they used it in.

PR is my fav corps, and I've gotta say that I do miss the all black. However, this is a really neat design.. I dig it.
