Personality: Cherry is unusual for a raider, lacking many of the defining personality and characteristics of raiders, other than her lack of a shadow. She's never really had the urging to cause chaos and destruction, unless you count the way she consumes candy, the closest she ever really gets to these being the occasional candy wrapper thrown on the floor instead of the trash. Bright lights, loud noises, and being touched were never problems for her, even though she did prefer quiet to chaos. Cherry, just like the candy she consumes, is a complete sweetheart, always willing to lend a hand to those around her. Her naive attitude and outlook at the world tends to her downfall, and was even the reason she became a raider in the first place, but it also let her see things in a different light than other. While being a full grown adult Cherry has the heart of a child and endless curiosity.
Recently however due to the general chaos of Lilypad and issues with her only friends Cherry has been finding herself stressed and tired. Rarely does she even venture out of her house except to get groceries and the store she worked so hard to build hasn't been open in months. When she does come out of her home she seems stressed and barely holding herself together, rarely talking to the people around her. That sweet happy go lucky fox is still in there but it is having a hard time coming out.
History: Cherry moved into lilypad several months ago, though she didn't realize she needed a ticket to be official, and made herself a home in the Hollow Forrest. She had no idea about raiders, and actually spent a pretty peaceful first month out there. One day she found a small bottle of purplely red liquid on her door, tied neatly with a bow. Thinking nothing of it she drank some, realizing her mistake soon after. She spent another month living in the Hollow Forrest before she couldn't stand it anymore and moved out. She found herself a ruined ticket out in the woods and became an official citizen.
Other:
- Cherry has long since accepted her fate as a raider, and while she doesn't enjoy talking about it she doesn't bother to hide the fact anymore. She still is almost never seen in any other form than fox, and gets visibly distressed around other raiders.
- She has a big purple bow tied to the base of her tail

A letter was slipped under the door by a bunny who quickly came and went.

Cherry cautiously opens the door, starting to step out when she heard the crinkle of paper at her feet. Glancing down she noticed an envelop.
Cherry Blossom: Oh, what's this la-de-do?
She picks it up, reading it silently to herself. With a determined grin she started off, grabbing a parasol before she left.

Late in the day, Cherry was approached by a very small and cheery-looking child.
They were more than eager to greet her, it seemed.
Fuyuki: "Hello there! Say, what brings you to Lilypa-"
Their sentence was cut off though, finally getting a clean whiff of the sweet smell
that Cherry imitated. Their posture completely melted as a result.
Fuyuki: "Aaahhh....that smell.....it's so nice~ nippaaa..."
Fuyuki: "WHAT SORT OF PERFUME IS THAT?! IT'S SO GOOD!"

Cherry's face turned bright red, and she glanced away embarrassedly.
Chery Blossom: T-thank you! It isn't perfume though la-de-do.
Carefully reaching into her poncho she pulled out several small taffies, mostly red and blue.
Cherry Blossom: I made them myself la-de-do...

Fuyuki: "!!!!!"
The little bunny was stunned by Cherry's kind gesture. They didn't know what to say for
a while. Eventually, they forced themselves to respond as best they could.
Fuyuki: "Is this....candy?! ...For me????"
They hesitantly reached out and took the bundle of sweets, and then unwrapped one and looked
up at her before placing it in their mouth, as if for approval.
It was......so delicious. Fuyuki again went into that dazed state while savoring one.
The sugary treat was such a delight to the tongue. Packed with flavor...but not too sweet.
Not only that, but it being a gift made it even better.
Fuyuki began to sniffle.
Fuyuki: "Th...thank you......they're great."

Cherry was speechless, watching the rabbit eating her candy, then start crying. She was going to ask them if they were alright, when they...thanked her. Now it was her turn to be speechless.
Cherry Blossom: Uh..um y-you're welcome? I h-have more if you'd like some?
She wasn't sure what to do, no one had ever cried before while eating her candy. Maybe it was too sweet??

Fuyuki: "I...I'm sorry- I'm just...not used to this...."
The little bunny stammered and stumbled over what words to use.
Finally, they wiped their eyes of tears and put on a much more
happy expression.
Fuyuki: "I'd LOVE to have some more candy!!! It's delicious, nippaaa~"
Fuyuki: "My name's Fuyuki by the way! What's yours?"

Happily Cherry handed Fuyuki the last 5 pieces of taffy she had on her, a smile wide on her face.
Cherry Blossom: My name is Cherry Blossom la-de-do!
Cherry Blossom: You can call me Cherry though.
She happily offered out a paw to shake.

Fuyuki had only been offered a paw one other time, but remembered it and knew right
away what to do. they took hold of Cherry's with their own and shook a bit too aggressively.
Fuyuki: "AAaaaaa! It's great to meet another nice person here! Hey, since you gave me
something, I should return the favor!"
Fuyuki then pulled a Hybrid Pansy out from their pocket and practically shoved it into her hands.
They were so excited, and would not take any protesting, especially from the first person other
than Harume to kindly gift them something.
Fuyuki: "IT'S OFFICIAL, THEN! WE'RE BEST FRIENDS NOW!"

Cherry Blossom fumbled with the flower a bit before here eyes widened and the beginnings of tears formed in them. Slowly she ruffled the fur on the top of her head a bit and threaded the stem of the flower in it, making it so it sat neatly in front of her ear.
Cherry Blossom: You're the sweetest creature I've ever met la-de-do...
Without warning she flung her arms out, pulling Fuyuki into a tight hug.
Cherry Blossom: IT'S EXTRA OFFICIAL NOW LA-DE-DO!

The little rabbit was VERY surprised by Cherry's embrace. They didn't dislike it, though.
In fact, they returned the hug and even giggled a bit.
Fuyuki: "OH! I'M SO GLAD!"
Fuyuki started to sniffle and choke suddenly.
Fuyuki: "I...I....Th-Thank you!!! So much- n-nippaaa...."
They were quick as ever to wipe the tears away and took a step back, then put their hands on their hips.
Fuyuki: "SO IT'S OFFICIAL! WE'RE BEST FRIENDS!!! AAAA~ I'M SO HAPPY! THANK YOU! I'll be the bestest
friend ever, Cherry!"

Fuyuki’s happiness was contagious and Cherry found herself giggling as well. Despite being an adult Cherry found herself clapping, nearly jumping for joy. She’d never had a best friend before, though so far Fuyuki was fitting the bill pretty well
Cherry Blossom: I know exactly what our first order of friend business should be la-de-do! You should come to my house, then we can have more food and um do friend stuff!!
Cherry wasn’t quite sure exactly what friends did, her old friends mostly just took her out to eat and occasionally they’d visit a park and goof off. Of course she has been a teenager at that time, she had not the slightest idea what adult friends did. Was Fuyuki even an adult for that matter?

Fuyuki was just as overjoyed to hear Cherry's suggestion. They were absolutely
thrilled with the idea. It wasn't clear if they could get any more energetic.
Fuyuki: "OHMYGOSH YOU HAVE THE BEST IDEAS, NIPPAAA! Let's go now!!! I can't
wait to see what your house looks like! I bet it's SUUUUPER cute!!!"
Fuyuki exclaimed this, and then snatched Cherry's hand and started to run off
in a random direction. They were so excited that they didn't wait for
directions. They were ready to go.
Fuyuki: "I'm going to hang out at my friend's house!"

Attracted to the scent of sweets, Leeks made her debut as she inevitably slithered up to the raider.
Leeks: "Ah. So you are the source."
Leeks: "I was wondering where the sweet smell came from. Interesting for a raider."

Cherry couldn't believe her eyes, another raider! Where were they all coming from and why couldn't they just leave her be?! She left the hollow forest to get away from the other raiders, and yet she still found herself being greeted by them. All day at least 4 raiders had come up to her, and she was worried that number would increase.
Cherry Blossom: Umm t-thank you la-de-do. It's probably coming from the candy I have on me...

A deer approached, hooves in his pockets.
Kennith: Hm, somebody has a sweet smell to them.
Kennith: Are your pockets, perhaps, filled with sweets and candies galore?

Cherry let out a little yelp, turning around to face this new voice and hurriedly shoving the candy back into her pockets. It belong to yet another raider.
Cherry Blossom: I wasn't eating anything I swear la-de-do.
Despite being a grown adult Cherry reacted like a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Oh right, no shadow.
Kennith: Oh, I wasn't worried about that!
Kennith: Though you might want to hide those, just in case someone comes to steal them!!
Kennith: I was just summoned by the sweet smell that radiates off of you. I do have quite the sweet tooth.

Cherry eyed the raider suspiciously before carefully reaching out, a yellow taffy sitting carefully on her palm.
Cherry Blossom: Here you go la-de-do...

He proceeded to snatch it and run off without even a thank you.

Cherry Blossom screamed and without warning became a shadow and disappeared from slight. A little ways away she seemingly reappeared and hurriedly got inside her house, locking the door behind her.

Kennith had hidden behind a tree to watch, pocketing the sweet for later use. Once she'd left, he took his own leave.

Cherry gave the raider in front of her a shy smile, tail tucked neatly between her tails.
Cherry Blossom: Ermm thank you la-de-do! You smell like...water?

Rags: "Didn't expect you to be at the end of that smell...Welcome to the family my friend~"
The green squirrel chuckled and adjusted his umbrella.
Rags: "I'm Rags~ hehehehe~"

As Cherry heard the sounds of footsteps and a voice she eagerly turned around, ready to greet this new friend.
Cherry Blossom: Oh Hello th- . . .
Her face suddenly looked uncomfortable, and her tail curled closer to her body. If you looked carefully you could see she was trembling slightly.
Cherry Blossom: H-hello there rags, la-de-do. I'm Cherry Blossom.
She noticeably didn't offer out a hand to shake

Rags was confused why Cherry was shivering, he hadn't done
anything to her yet. He didn't really have that intention. This one
seemed a bit different them regular raiders.
Rags: "hmm...."
Rags took the initiative to hold out his hand instead to shake.
Giving her his 'friendly' smile.
Rags: "Pleasure to meet ya Cherry, something wrong? Seem a bit shook' up~"

Cherry Blossom still hesitated before slowly taking Rags's hand, shaking it nervously with her own large paw. As they touched a shiver went down her spine and she was quick to pull it back.
Cherry Blossom: No no... I'm fine, just uh cold la-de-do.
Her lie was very unconvincing as the sun shone brightly in the sky and there wasn't even a breeze. Quickly she changed the sybject.
Cherry Blossom: Where did you get that adorable umbrella?

Rags: "Oh this old thing?"
Rags look up at his umbrella and grinned, he was a big fan of the dark green stretcher
It didn't have any designs, but it did compliment the golden shaft and cap well. The handle being an
even darker green.
Rags: "Was a gift actually~ Had this thing for a looong time~ Never go anywhere
without it~..Well...unless its dark, Heheheh~"

Cherry Blossom: Well it is very lovely la-de-do! Though I normally only use an umbrella for rain.
Her nervousness ebbed, as Rags had yet to do anything suspicious at all, though she still hadn't fully let her guard down.
Cherry Blossom: Do you just carry it around for fun?

The green bean gasped a bit at her query. Seems she doesn't
have the same issue as him, how lucky!
Rags: "Oh! No, I carry around because I Have to during the day!"
Rags twirled the umbrella and chuckled, He figured it would be obvious why a fellow raider
would be carrying an umbrella around during a bright day.
Rags: "You see, I am pretty sensitive to the sun, can't have that burning menace
touch me unless I wanna start letting off smoke, EHEHEHE!~"
Rags paused for a moment
Rags: "Just being out in the day under an umbrella is kinda nausiating~"

Cherry Blossom: I only have that problem in my other forms.
She spat out the last part of her sentence, disdain clearly in her voice.
Cherry Blossom: My house is nearby if you'd like to come inside la-de-do. You're not allowed to touch, or steal anything though!

The green squrriel gasped as if that was something that offended him
Though as he continued Cherry could tell that it was a joke.
Rags: "GASP!"
He laughed a bit at the statement, assuming he'd steal?
Mighty wise of you Cherry, most raiders would steal from you.
But this squirrel wasn't interested in that. Atleast...not from raiders.
Rags: "HEHEHEH! I would never do that to a fellow raider!"
This Cherry was much too kind for a raider, it kinda set weird
with Rags. She was going to get eaten alive. But that wasn't his concern
right now. He was making a friendly acquaintance and she invited him over.
How thoughtful, how kind~..Too kind.
Rags: "I'd love too~ And I'll try not to steal anything, promise~ HEHEHEHEH~!!"

The way Rags joked was what finally set Cherry at ease, a broad smile spreading across her face, similar to his.
Cherry Blossom: You'll be my first official house guest la-de-do! The place is a little bit messy, but I am still setting things up.
It seemed all of her nervousness, at least about Rags, had faded and her childish nature began to shine through. As she started to lead the way to her house, she explained her passion for cooking, especially candy.
Cherry Blossom: I'm setting up my very own candy shop la-de-do. All the candy I'm selling is homemade!
She beamed, clearly proud of herself.

Rags followed suit and listened intently, internally glad
that he'd be going inside soon. He was starting to feel sick.
But his smile never faded. At the mention of candy Rags's ears
perked up and he chimed in.
Rags: "OOoooo~ A candy making raider! How exotic~ heheheheh!"
Rags: "You wouldn't happen to make any sour candies, would you?"

Cherry Blossom: Of course I do! Here let me grab some.
She reached into the inside of her poncho rummaging around in a hidden pocket before pulling out several green taffies.
Cherry Blossom: Here you go la-de-do!

Rags: "oooOO! Awesome~ lemme try~ heheheh~"
Rags grabbed the candies out of her hand, not even
fazed that they came out of her poncho and unwrapped one.
With excitement in his eyes, he popped it into his mouth and started
chewing.
Rags: "...."
His face was strangely blank for a moment before his face twisted into
a huge grin and he gave a loud cackle. His tail flicked behind him
quickly.
Rags: "OOOOOOOOO THAT'S PRETTY GOOD! IT'S BEEN
AWHILE SINCE I HAD SOME GOOD SOUR CANDY HEHEHEHEHEHEH!"
Rags quickly and with some unseen skill, he flung the rest of the candies in his mouth
without the wrappers on them. When did he even unwrap those!?

Cherry let out a small squeak as all the candy just disappeared from her hands, leaving only a pile of wrappers, and as Rags complimented her a blush grew in her cheeks.
Cherry Blossom: Awww thanks. I have much sourier candies, I just haven't made any yet.
Cherry Blossom: My current stock is erm...dwindling. I'll have to make more soon, before I eat it all.
They were fast approaching a modest little house with two floors, one for living in and one for the shop. The first floor had large windows that let in some of the light but didn't make the shop extra bright. There was lots of boxes visible through them.
Cherry Blossom: This is my new house, my old one wouldn't have worked very well La-de-do!

After finishing the candy, Rags cleared his throat.
Rags: "looks homey! Looks like you got plenty of room~ I relate, where I live there is room for MILES!"
Rags couldn't even contain his laughter as he finished his joke.
He had been referring to how he lives in the forest and how there are NO walls.
HAHA, what a real rib tickler! Though, since he didn't outright say it, he
wouldn't be surprised if Cherry didn't get the joke.
Rags: "AHAHAHAAAA HAAAaaa roooom for miles~ Good one Rags~"

Cherry Blossom: . . .what?
The joke sailed clean over her head and likely landed several miles away were she would never see it or realize it was there. She stood there confused for a few seconds before sheepishly opening the door and holding it open for Rags.
Cherry Blossom: My actual house house is upstairs la-de-do, but it's in no state for guests.

As expected the joke didn't land, but that's fine. Rags got a laugh
out of it. As she opened the door, Rags almost seemed to RUSH in, finally ready to
get out of the light. Ahhhh... that's much better.
Rags: "Looks good in here so far"
Rags wasn't one to really show how he was truly feeling, but just by his
poster and the look at satisfaction when he put his umbrella away you
could tell he was much more comfortable.

Cherry Blossom: Really?! I worked really hard to set everything up. I have to unpack my decorations still la-de-do.
She turned towards one of the boxes and opened it up, bending down to rummage through it.
Cherry Blossom: I know it's hiding in here somewhere...ah ha!
With a grin she pulled out a small can of soda and handed it to Rags. The label on the can looked homemade.
Cherry Blossom: You said you liked sour things right? I've been needed someone to try out my new recipe! It is a lemon soda, sorry it isn't very cold la-de-do.

Rags watched her closely as she dug through the box. His eyes pretty much glued to her. What could she be getting out of that box? Hopefully more of that taffy. But it wasn't..it looked like a...soda can?
Rags: "Ooooo A soda!? That's like, my SECOND favorite thing to drink!"
When he realized what KIND of soda he gave a big grin and laughed loudly. He really did like to laugh, didn't he? He took the soda from her and opened it, giving it a good ol' sniff sniff first. He shook his head quickly when the tart aroma of the lemon entered his nostrils. Making his entire body shake and it leaving through his tail. That smells GOOD. Then without hesitation, he took a big swig of the homemade soda.
Rags: "This is great~ I love this soda, heheheh~ Make me wanna go outside and RUN"
Any normal villager would've had to sip on this sour drink, or at least made a face at that tart feeling in their mouths. Not this squirrel, sour was his territory. He took the can and completely downed the rest of it, giving Cherry a satisfied sigh as he set the can down on a table.
Rags: "I vote, yum~"

Cherry's blush returned, an even deeper color of red than before, so much so that she turned her head away awkwardly.
Cherry Blossom: T-thank you I'm working on making it in different flavors la-de-do.
She got back to her feet, picking up Rags's can and setting it into a recycling near the door.
Cherry Blossom: I wish I had more sour candy to offer you, but I am still working on things.
Cherry Blossom: Any suggestions, this is a new recipe and anything helps la-de-do!

The green squirrel thought for a moment, his stare off across the room on something you couldn't pinpoint.
Rags: "hmmmmm...."
After about 10 seconds of him 'hmm'ing to himself his head jerked over to her and snapped his finger, a big grin on his face once more.
Rags: "The lemon one is great, no need to change it other then being cold, I think you should come out with a SOUR GREEN APPLE version of that drink! That would be a hit! HEHEHEH~"
Rags: "Atleast, I know I'd like it~"
