☎ History: Sam was abandoned as a Seedot in the woods when he was 6, discovered by his now adoptive brothers, the Vivillons, when they found him during a routine trip to another smaller town. The group were entirely unable to find any parents and not wanting to leave the little pokemon alone in the woods, he was taken into their fold and accepted as part of their family. With nothing but his original name, Samuel became the 5th "Vivillon" brother. The oldest brother, Web, had just recently escaped his own family at the ripe age of 19, taking all his siblings with him as they made a new life in Kora city. Coming from a giant family of well known Tradesmon, Sam was taught how to sell and market from the moment he entered the house, enthusiastically watching them work and reading the paperwork to learn everything he possibly could so once he was actually old enough, he could help out.
His enthusiasm, however, did not seem to turn into skill. Once he was finally allowed to start helping out in the actual shops everyone quickly realized that Sam was a miserable salesmon. Things always seemed to go wrong around him, bad luck trailing behind his every action like a curse. Any sales he tried to make or help with ended in disaster and an unhappy customer--sometimes even injury on either side on bad days. Sam's brothers tried to keep the youngest's spirits up but when everything seemed to go wrong his excitement quickly faded away. No matter how hard he tried, how much effort he put into it, how much heart, he seemed entirely unable to sell anything. As the years went by and he became old enough to run his own stand things just seemed to get worse.
Now trying to pay for things on his own, though the brothers all still lived with each other, Sam encountered even more problems. Desperate for sales he started making less than "up-and-up" deals and bargains, sneaking in scams between any regular deals he could manage as an attempt to come off as less of a "failure" to his siblings. This backfired spectacular as customers quickly realized they weren't getting what they were trying to buy. Unhappy customers told others and even sometimes would come back for revenge. Sam's reputation amongst traders, which was formerly "that poor nuzleaf who can't seem to sell to save his life", became that of a scammer and a cheat. Considering the only time he was ever able to sell anything was when he was lying Sam fully threw himself into the life, trying to keep it hidden from his siblings best he could so he could at least pretend he was doing something helpful. Obviously they found out eventually, and it was one of the few times his brothers were genuinely mad at him.
Now at the ripe age of 25, Sam is trying--with the help of his brothers--to go back on the straight and narrow sales wise, but it's been an uphill battle. Not only does he have his own lack of skills fighting against him, but his reputation and some not so good habits all trying to drag him back down. Sam is determined to be successful though, and he will work as hard as he needs to achieve it.
TL;DR:
A seedot gets adopted by a well known trade family of vivillon but after evolving and trying to sell for himself he discovers he is really bad at it. He goes through a phase as a semi-successful scam artist but when his reputation tanks and his brothers find out he tries to turn things around to do better.

☎ Personality: Sam is desperate to say the least, his oozes the energy of someone who will do anything and everything to achieve their goals, and a philosophy he used to subscribe to until recently. Hiding behind the façade of an overly enthusiastic salesmon is a very insecure and uncertain pokemon, no where near as confident as he tries to appear and barely managing to do that in the first place. He is heavily driven by his emotions and easy to get going, almost erratic even, something that doesn't usually help with perspective customers. But even that energy is quick to fade, occasionally coming off as rather mellow and quiet--when he gives up trying to keep the mask on. Despite being a defeatist in denial he is still very sweet and has been making a conscious effort to be more friendly and welcoming to other pokemon while not also caking on the salesmon persona.
The only times Sam really seems to be "himself" is when he is around his brothers, and more of the excited Nuzleaf starting in the market for the first time comes out. With a sharp tongue and a love of pranks Sam can be a menace when he wants to be and his terrorizing of his siblings is matched only by his passion for his hobbies. Art, cooking, writing, crafting, anything that allows him to show off his creativity he'll pick up eventually, though not every attempt sticks. Even if Sam feels, unjustifiably, indebted to his siblings for taking care of him Sam still feels the safest and happiest around his adopted siblings. Everything he does he does to make them proud, though he hasn't yet realized they have been and will always be proud no matter what.

☎ Other:
- Sam stands at a measly 3'3" feet, hardly an intimidating height and yet still a solid 8 inches shorter than his brothers.
- Sam also has a vest+coat combo that is supposed to be apart of his uniform, like his siblings, but he almost never wears it opting instead for sticking to only the bowtie even if it doesn't really match anything without the coat.
- The leaf on Sam's head is very malleable, though only by Sam really, being just as expressive as his face almost. Alongside that he is able to turn it into a grass flute and play it like a regular instrument which he is very skilled at, though the music always seems to unnerve the pokemon around him whether he wants it to or not.
- Grabbing him by the nose will cause Sam to lock up stiff like a statue and be entirely unable to move until you let go, afterwhich he gets really sick and weak. Similar, but less intense, effects can also be achieved by pulling or hitting it, though just bumping into it or taps cause flinches, headaches, and not much else.

☎ Trivia:
- His hair is actually dyed! It used to be a soft cotton white but Sam wanted it to look more professional, and possibly stand out a little more, though whether either goal was actually accomplished who can say. It is very soft to the touch though.
- While Sam doesn't know it he is actually nearsighted, and struggles with reading far away objects and easily gets motion sick.
- Vivillon is both the name of his brothers species and his adopted surname. As last names aren't very common Sam's family ages ago decided to unite their brands under the shared title of "Vivillon's [insert business here]". The family is very large so within business circles it isn't uncommon to know them.
