lots of digital work again, I really need to shake off some dust with my sketchbook, it's getting awful neglected
i noticed i forgot to change one of the commentary fonts oops oh well
I have a lot of ocs I'm sorry!- but my undying gratitude and also cookies if you remember any of them Β
*rambles on about how updating/revamping/revisiting OCs instead of scrapping them and making new ones is good for me personally because it's like they're growing up with me and all the character developing doesn't go to waste* //drops some truths and floats away with a scallop on tummy

Gasps!! What's your secret for the shiny stone hoarding? I was trying to find ways to do so myself for the same reason.. and the pokedex of course, I swear...

There're a few methods:
> Secret Super Training - A Barrage of Lightning Quick Attacks! (or whatever it's called; the Roserade one) - yields like one Shiny Stone a day or something; not sure about the statistics, but it's the most reliable way
> Psychic Inver - Inverse Battle farming - yields up to 3, by chance; there's a tutorial for this somewhere; basically requires you to spam 8 or 9 super-effective normal attacks on like rock/steel types, and it'll randomly grant you like 3 special stones of the same type
> Global Link - Balloon Popping game - randomly grants you rewards for playing; very unreliable
I usually use the Super Training method because it's the easiest and fastest to do, esp if you have a good fully-trained Poke.

Ok, so awesome ladies as always. Love the way you do hair, especially with the radiant queen known as Linette. Leslie looks badass and OMG, I love the design of Gidget, especially the wings!Β Β
I love your costumes, both Witch and Gemsona and the GijinkaΒ΄s look really cool as well. Oh and your giftart looks so good, love how the colour scheme differs in both. Yuuki comes off as light but kinda cold in a way (sorry if I get that wrong

OH, Quinn jumped right into my eyes and she stands out here miles.
Hairdo, style and features are fantastic.
The other stuff ranges in my scale of preference (Linette is cool too; reminiscent of Rose of Versailles, plus Leslie is also a real looker).
But nonetheless, it is good to experiment and to just do what comes to mind without caring to much what the people might think.
The mental exchange it spurs is something I like to pick up. Also, it is many times a mirror in which I can question my thinking (I could have pre-judged and been wrong).

How do you come up with you magical girl ideas? Like I really all the ones I see. Like do you start out with an idea that the girls could transform into, or the outfits or something else all together. I'm just really interested in how you do it.

Ohh, I pull ideas from just about everything. Like...
A color palette (a primary red/blue/yellow set, complementary team, using neutrals like gold/silver/broze/black/white, etc)
Dichotomies are popular, like a night and day duo, a fire and ice duo, or a bigger set like elements (sailor moon uses planets) or for example I have a drinks/beverages theme for the group Leslie is part of.
What else... A time period could definitely inspire one, like Linette's was inspired of Rose of Versailles/Utena's pseudo medieval lady knights, or a romantic version of that. There could be inspiration found in police officer uniforms, doctors, performers, even pajamas. (I did something like that for my 31 magical girl challenge!)
Also fashion could inspire it, in the same vein as time periods but more specific. If I want a team based exactly on this certain double-breasted pea-coat buttons in the front, that's already a theme to create uniforms. Cropped jackets? Leotards of different cuts/lengths? Everyone has to have a special matching necklace or hairpiece? All themes!
The best part is taking two different inspirations and mash them together. Sailor moon = sailors and planets. Cardcaptors = cosplay and cards. Shugo Chara = Eggs and talents. I try not to go over four or five themes, but otherwise it's limitless!
