Description
Viral's name comes directly from the word "viral", tying in with the Beastmen's genetics theme, but there are other theories about his name's origin. One is the fact that it can also be an anagram for "rival", referring to his constant rivalry with Kamina and Simon. (from Wiki )Mig (no DA account) as Viral

As with the rest of the pictures from this set, the location for this was an active volcano. Kamina would be proud. It was a pretty exciting change from the usual spots we have photoshoots in. The rough terrain was a little dangerous, but that added to the fun. I got so absorbed in taking photos of Viral that I nearly fell off the ridge I was perched on, since my vision was warped by the perspective of the wide-angle lens.

Ah, I was a little iffy about the center thing too, but if I had attempted otherwise in this particular angle, I might have fallen off the ridge I was perched on or the wide-angle lens would distort Viral. I also had the choice to crop, but taking away even just a little of the background felt like a sin. For me, this way I really get drawn to the center and even almost feel a little vertigo. Like I'm about to fall towards Viral and he's going to kick my ass.
