So I don't normally post my sketches, because first I don't usually like them, and second it would fill a lot of my deviantart page. I'd rather post finished work, but today is special. I was thinking of finishing another copic piece I've been working on, but my anxiety level kinda went into overload at the thought of that. So instead I sat down on the couch with a pen and paper and started to doodle. At first I couldn't draw anything, which are the two drawings in the middle I tried to cover up. Once I got to Freddy I started to relax a little bit more. I think working with pen and a simple piece of paper is a good way for me to calm down while still practicing my drawing skills. I also didn't use any reference to draw the characters, so there may be a few things wrong, but I think I got the overall idea across. I'm considering doing something with these doodles later with reference so I can fix any mistakes, but still maintain my own original take on the characters. I'll have to think about it some more. I must admit I'm still giggling inside tat I actually managed to remember so many of the characters and what they look like. Usually my memory is horrible and I have to use a reference. Perhaps this could also be something to help build my memory of what characters look like?
