Description
In the book, Lynnex is captured by the Demokats, along with Nightmare. She is forced to fight in an arena, and even fight Nightmare. She refuses to touch Nightmare, even as he's feral from the blue moons. Her father and Queen Axolotl, with a delegation to barter for the heir. Tigereye tries a different tactic. Large stabs of emotion can sometimes trigger the Phoenix blood, as it had worked on him. He fakely barters for the Sable instead, leaving Lynnex distraught and immensely betrayed. Whenever Queen Ash would ask if he wanted his daughter, he brush it off with a groan, saying things like "Oh, daughters! Who wants daughters? All they do is sleep and eat, if somebody looks at them wrong it's all tears and revenge! You of all should know that, you have three!"

Finally Lynnex had enough of it. She was aware of her sparking feathers. She felt the floor scorching under her paws. The chains smoldered and melted. "D-daddy? Is that really what you think of me?" She sobbed out before her fur and scales alike, erupted into flames darker than the night sky. She felt...powerful. What is happening to me. And why do I feel awesome.
