Hm? Yeah, she does. There's the outfit of the Spirit Martel , which is clearly more attached to the Tree, and then there's the Martel sprite from the game who's wearing the outfit above. She doesn't have the leafy Tree motif in that 'corpse' sprite form, so people tend to draw the skirted Martel as Martel the Person, instead of Martel the Goddess.
It has clout.

Martel kind of reminds me of Lynn Minmei, y'know, from Macross. Her face just looks kind of Haruhiko Mikimoto-esque. Or maybe it's just me. I don't know.
