Inspired by the original art work of Kelsey Michele kelseymichele.deviantart.com/a… .I took a little liberty in the drape on the shoulder and based it off a vintage chiffon dress I had seen and fallen in love with. My petticoat is quite fully, but I didn't want a giant square dancing petticoat under it for fear of being too poofy looking (personal preference on my part). The dress is a basic blue chiffon over duchess satin swing dress. I then made a red/white corset to go over it. The corset fabric is a patterned silk with little star bursts in it. It only came in white, so I had to dye half of it red. The corset cinches tighter, but my dress form does not, so it's not sitting right on the form lol. The purse is from USO girl dresses, it works great for this and I didn't have to make another bag lol.
