Here's a nice spooky image I made of when Ghostfreak possessed Gwen. It makes sense that he'd try to use Ben's love for his family against him. He threatened to kill her unless Ben surrendered and that was pretty dark. It was noble of Ben to oblige even though he knew what it would mean.
