Every woman's nightmare... hair dryer in reverse mode
OK, this was almost an improvised photo while Alizée was
getting ready for our shooting but I spent a bit of time to
edit it and boost every detail of it.

Yeah. It wasn't through the front of the dryer though. My long hair got sucked in the back when I was drying it one morning. The holes on the back cover were nearly a quarter inch in diameter! A good chunk of my hair got pulled in through them

This piece is really well done. The editing techniques used gives it almost a comical feel while still expressing the realistic nature in which this is happening. I had to do a bit of a double take to notice that it indeed was a photograph. I love her expression and the way she is also pulling on the bottom part of the cord. The one thing that does make me a bit iffy is the fact that it almost feels like she's still in the shower with the way the angle is and how the background is positioned. Other than that, it's a really solid piece that has a very humorous side.

thank you for the review. The mirror was actually in front of her, I think it should be understandable via the wire that goes towards the viewer. And I like the fact that we see the sower behind (I could have removed this more than easily), it gives a bit of madness and works in the composition.

My opinion, but this photo has been so severely edited that it should probably be under photo manipulations instead of photography. Her face doesn't look anything like a photograph. Just my two cents.

I didn't change the composition, it's still a photograh, I think it would have been a "manipulation" if I had added the hairdryer afterwards for instance, which is not the case. Everything was there, I edited the skin, light, texture etc... This is just pro photo editing, no manipulation
