While most of the fabric was prefabricated (just a random jumpsuit a guy on Craigslist gave me, with yellow ribbon and numbers I added to the back), the props (Pipboy 3000, AER-9 Laser Rifle, and VaultTec Utility Belt) are all original work. The Pipboy screen lights up, powered by a battery pack on my shoulder. The AER-9 Rifle has a flashlight mounted inside the barrel with a red filter, and is activated by a switch in the handle.

As an unintentional last-minute touch, I duct-taped my boot sole on after it separated at the convention just before I went to judging. It's not just for show!
