Blender cycles render of my latest creature, Allosaurus fragilis, based on Scott Hartman's skeletal reconstruction. Pretty proud of this beast; it's the most detailed I've ever created, with a high poly sculpt of over 2 million vertices using Blender's dyntopo feature. Also gave him a few primitive feathers (I'm not confident enough with Blender's particle systems to go the whole way yet, that'll come with stuff like Velociraptor and Therizinosaurus).

Allosaurus, often known as the lion of the Jurassic, would have been the apex predator of its day, using sharp, blade-like teeth to hack at prey. Adults could grow up to 9m long.
