Description After the death of Alexander the Great and no clear line of succession, his empire was divided among his generals . The Wars of the Diadochi took place over the following forty years, where the most strongest of those military commanders established their own dynasties. The most significant of those dynasties were the Seleucid Empire in Persia and neighboring territories and the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt.

Featuring Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Cassander in Alexander (2004)
