Description
Okay guys... this OLD. I drew this a while ago but didn't really want to upload it because it's such a clichΓ© to make fun of Twilight, and I felt that my knowledge of that damn series was not enough to back my thoughts up.But then I rediscovered this today and thought it was kinda funny, even though it's your average "let's make fun of Twilight" comic, and I hope you're not yet sick of them.
I feel kind of dirty.
But still. I like this one.

Thank you!
Yes, Lucien and Vicente are from Oblivion. I wish I owned them, though.
Oh, and sorry for the late reply.

I know everyone probably mentioned this - Don't choke on the sparkles, brother - , best line ever
I feel like Lucien was talking to Champion there, instead of talking about entry to DB he introduces the two instead XD
I wonder what he/she would react about this XD

I think we all owe Vicente a drink. He saved all mankind. Idea of sparkling blood is great. I wonder, does Edward's brain sparkle too?

I like the look on chibi-Vicente's face when Lucien introduces Edward. And then they're expressions when Edward explains his uber-impossibleness (sparkles? really?). WTF.

yessss... My senses are harmed by that bs too. On so many levels. So funny. I've done a few of my own, comics making fun of Twilight. What a ridiculous... grrr... I can't believe that got her popularity. Says nothing for the state of women's brains anymore...
Anyway, honey and peppermint. nice. You might want to watch your dear Vincente. Most diseases of the blood don't bother the dead body of a vampire... but obviously, he might catch something from Edward. He might bleed sparkles from the nose or poop rainbows for a bit... Or feel obliged to do some very shoddy, terrible, emo poetry... *gasp* OR READ THE BOOK ITSELF!!!! OR DATE MARY SUE! Aw, man. Maybe you shouldn't have done that...

Well... There is hope. You should have him go out and kill something normally... or chase down a werewolf or anything of that sort. Might bring some healing to that poor guy!

I enjoyed the first book pretty much. But then you think about it it is pretty much a modern romeo and juliet. Besides, the seiries are pretty easy to make fun of and no, its not boring with yet a other one

Berende In reply to Dragonqueens [2011-06-23 17:06:38 +0000 UTC]
Now hold on a second - "Romeo and Juliet" and "Twilight" do not belong in the same context. Just no.
But I'm glad you don't think this is boring! I mean, there are so many Twilight-mocking comics and things out there that I thought people might be sick of them already.

Dragonqueens In reply to Berende [2011-06-23 20:04:38 +0000 UTC]
I know the quality of the two stories are in two diffrent worlds, romeo and juliet beeing the good world and twilight the bad one. But still the simularities are there.
Two people in love, faimlies dont aprove (mainly bellas father), two clans fighting - wearwolves and vampiers ... And she basicly dies out of poison in the first book (she was bitten) Maby I have taken the simularities a bit long searched but I still see them. Poor Romeo and Juliet ...

I used to think the outrage over Twilight was exaggerated, until I saw the proof. It is horrible. So there's no such thing as putting 'clichΓ©' and 'making fun of Twilight' in the same sentence. This is destiny, it had to be done. *solemn nod*
It's only a bit cruel on Vicente, I guess. Hm. Poor man.

Berende In reply to Ethelle [2011-06-23 17:19:49 +0000 UTC]
I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the films - yet, at least. I have considered reading the first book, though, just to see what the fuss is really about, but there are so many other things I'd rather spend time doing... Our literature professor actually told us to read some Twilight because, and I quote, "you need to know what you're making fun of".
It's a good enough reason, but I don't think I could ever be seen in public again if I got caught carrying anything Twilight related out of a library...
Ah, don't worry about Vicente, I'm sure he'll be fine... he might suffer from an inexplicable desire to stare at his sleeping female victims before feasting on them, though, and his gory vampire dreams might be a bit different from now on... the gore is probably replaced with sparkles.
