Cheesy title aside, I was listening to Nat King Cole sing Fly me to the Moon on repeat while drawing this. The lines, "let me see what spring looks like on Jupiter and Mars" got stuck in my head, so I drew this.

for me i usually have to have the object/picture im drawin in front of me and i add changes here and there but i can never juss draw from my mind >.<

oh I see, well thats good too, I do a lot of life studies like that also! For me I guess what helps is understanding how stuff works and then I dont need a reference after that point. Like oh, so this is how the bones in a arm interact with its muscles. Cool, and then I can use that info to draw from my mind
