Description
Well, this comic has a lot of history, you see. That's the reason why it's been so long since the day I write the first version of teh script (the very same day I watched the episode) and the day of its release. When I showed the script to Microtech, he didn't like the beginning. He almost never says things like "I don't like this", so when he uses those words, shit gets real.
Sooo I had to rewrite it. But I didn't like the 2.0 version. So I made a THIRD version. And then I changed it, so this is the 3.5 version. Phew.
Also, notice how the drawing is different? Microtech wants to use a new style. I kinda like it, it's cool. Although those horses at the end are weird. But hey, they're horses. OF COURSE they're weird.
On a side note, HOLY COW WE HAVE TUMBLR:
[link]
GO FOLLOW IT OR I'LL DIE! AND THEN MICROTECH WILL DIE TOO! AND THEN YOU'LL DIE!
...
Well, that's not true, but WHO CARES, FOLLOW THE TUMBLR!
Also, a cookie for the first guy who translates the horses' dialogue!
Art by Microtech
Script by Best Seller, as well as the silly description.
EDIT: EQD's link: [link]
ANOTHER EDIT: Ok guys, it seems like the arabic thing is not quite well. You see, photoshop is dislexic or something and can't compute right-to-left written languages, so everything the horses say is backwards. And also disconnected, because blablabla Google Translator sucks and I know nothing about Arabic. Sooo forget about initial or final forms of the letters.
And, eh, don't forget we're talking about magical-talking horses here, buddies Don't lose your focus. In Equestria they talk like that, that's my headcanon. Also, a spoiler: next comic has ALSO stuff written in other language than English (it's not a joke, it's because spoilers and blablablah), so I guess we'll do the same again and put a stupid, computer-generated phrase... sorry in advance.
Well, that's it. Best-Seller says adiรณs.
EDIT AGAIN: Holy shit why is this so popular. I'm sure nobody has read the entire description. If you've done so and make an useful comment (or just a commenta bout how much do you like the comic) and the world "waffle" somewhere, I'll write a funny and/or interesting thing in your userpage. Let's see if that works.

Hey! That's not proper Arabic! You can't start a word with a taa marbuta, none of your letters connect, and Arabic doesn't even HAVE a comma (it is the language of run-on sentences). Therefore, you CAN'T translate it!
That said, this is still a funny comic - I just have to nitpick that kind of thing.

"I swear, it will be impossible for me"
"to talk like this without Google Translate"
I'm a native Arabic speaker, but bravo on the effort

Oddly enough "I can't understand anything" sounds exactly like "Yes, those are entirely decent negotiations for our continued peace and maintaining of the status quo" in Saddle Arabic so score one for Luna.

Yep. I get bored easily. Especially if all I do is sit and not use the Canternet. All Celestia does is sit and write to her faithful student that people have already written terrible fanfics about her being molested as a filly probably. And another thing, Celestia's too nice. She needs to be angry for once! That is all.

Unless it's a preference thing or a technical thing, I'm pretty sure Arabic is supposed to connect the letters like in English Cursive. I took 4 semesters of it, and that's how we wrote and read the language. And no I have no idea what is says. I basically learned the alphabet, how to read and pronounce, and lets just say my teacher was deported before we got to the translation part of the class >_> lol

You are correct!! Unfortunately, the limitations of imaging programs, most of which don't fully support languages with the Arabic script, written right-to-left and in a cursive form (just as you said), struck here today.
"I just don't know what went wrong!"
I'm not a native Arabic speaker either, but I speak Dari/Persian (also uses the Arabic script) and just like yourself, I am taking an Arabic class. I can't say for sure but it really looks like gibberish to me.
@ I would rewrite the original Arabic text using MS Word (it has full support for Arabic script!), blow up the text to the font size being used here, and then take a screen shot of it and place the screen shot into the comic. Admittedly, I have no idea what that will do to the legibility of the characters, but at least they will be linked correctly.

Yea I had a feeling it was probably a limitation of the graphic software used to create the comic.
I got a few words out of it. The Arabian princess said "yes" somewhere because I saw "alif-noon" together which is one of the few phrases I do remember :3
