so @geetimesthree and I got to talking about how deep sea fish essentially explosively decompress when brought up too quickly, and how the blob fish actually looks like this ^^^ before its eyes and organs are flipped inside out, lol. Like, what happened to its skin?? It’s spines?? Anyway, that looks like it hurt on the way up. In @geetimesthree ‘s words, “ah yes, the face of a fish that has suffered! Let’s make a plush out of it!” XD
May this sad merblob be a reminder that explosive decompression is prolly pure agony on the way up to lower pressures!
