Day 8 cont: The small passage led to a suburban street. Houses lined up, a red tint upon the world given by a light just beyond the forest. The doors were all locked but one. Just outside, I found an ammo crate, so thankfully I won't be defenseless anytime soon. I can't shake the feeling that she found me again. I feel her gaze, but when I go to look, she disappears. I'll be sleeping inside the house, where there's some trash, a chair, a bit of rations, and a mattress sitting inside, so at least I'll be able to rest comfortably.
