History
Smokekit, Jellykit, Eggkit and Marshkit were born to Lunarstar and Weedwhisperer after Lunarstar had a mid-life crisis. Lunarstar already had three other children, Deadsplash, Thornshred, and Crowdive, who were the kits’ older siblings. Smokekit was wounded but recovered in time to be an apprentice with his littermates.
Smokepaw was apprenticed to his cousin Streamstripe, an aggressive she-cat he found a little scary. Ghosts began attacking the clans, sometimes targeting Lunarstar. Smokepaw was knocked unconscious during a battle that had broke out during a gathering, and he woke in StarClan with Brinestorm, Lioncall, and Tatteredpaw. StarClan told them that they had been chosen and granted the power to go to sleep and wake in StarClan at will, with the purpose of entering the Place of No Stars to subdue the problem ghosts. Brinestorm was unsure about having apprentices on the team, and did most of the strategizing with Lioncall. Smokepaw had to focus on training anyway.
Smokeweed, Marshmallow, Eggtooth, and Jellystripe got their warrior names after a chaotic assessment that ended with seagulls shitting all over camp. He was given Cedarpaw as an apprentice, so he was pretty busy. They got to work on confronting ghosts individually; some were more cooperative than others. Smokeweed lost an ear in a fight with Whitewind, but he was bargained with. While that was happening though, Tatteredpaw was led away and attacked. When they went to wake up, Tatteredpaw could not, now a permanent member of StarClan. She was named Tatteredsould post-mortem, and StarClan chose Tinypath to join the team in her place.
After taking down a few more ghosts, they decided to confront Tatteredsoul’s killer, Littlesoul, who seemed to be a leader of sorts. They tracked her down, but wound up being led to Scarspirit, who just wanted to get to StarClan. Littlesoul got mad and started a bigger fight, bringing in more to fight. StarClan managed to get Smokeweed and Tinypath out of there, Brinestorm and Lioncall being trapped for a while. This was the end of the ghost problem, for the time being, anyway.
Lunarstar was drowned in a flood, and Timberstar took control of the clan. Things went to shit, Crowstar was asked to lead SolarClan but died not long after, and Marshmallow and his young kits died during some bullshit, along with one of Thornshred’s daughters. She later lost another and her mate in a fight with TempestClan, which Timberstar formed after Russetstar took LunarClan’s leadership.
