and now for something completely different - in graphite, no less....this is the first drawing in my new series of branded images. this portrait is actually the wip, so it'll be moved to scraps once i get the actual image finished.
coincidentally (?) this is the fourth mirror self-portrait i've ever attempted, the second in which i used the mirror (rather than imagination) for the entire drawing, and the first i've ever 'finished.' huh.
what's really strange is that i haven't put my glasses in yet, but i drew the shadows - at first glance, it looks as though the glasses are actually there....
