When I first began using DAZ studio, I tried out a lot of different scenes to get a feel for the program. Most of these scenes were poorly made, and thankfully never saw the light of day before I moved onto something else. To celebrate recently hitting 500 followers, I wanted to recreate some of my initial work, two years later. The original scene on the left and the remade version on the right, and hopefully it can inspire people to not feel put off by their initial work because I guarantee it will improve if you give it time and effort.
This scene was a fairly quick one to make, but I like how it turned out. I had an idea of a giant holding two tinies, one in an open palm and one in a closed fist, and was able to make this exactly how I pictured it. The only struggle with this one was being limited on assets. Most of my content is Genesis 8, but for this I made the effort to use as much Genesis 9 as I could, such as all three of the characters within the scene. This ended up being a fun comparison to the original 2021 version that used what I believe is Genesis 2 or Genesis 3 characters. Obviously I am more skilled as an artist now, but the content available has also improved in quality.
