What can I say? Doing all that paperwork for some bumbling mayor of Megakat City will take some years off your life without some kind of assistant to help with you fix your luscious, blonde hair. What with all the monsters that periodically show up to destroy that city and all, life is hard enough already.

There aren't any word bubbles, but I imagine the interview would go a little something like this:

Callie: "Usually, we only hire other anthropomorphic cats of legal hiring age, but judging from the contents of your résumé, it looks like we might be able to make some of sort of compromise."

Zach: *leaps into the air in triumph or something*

Callie: "A position has just opened up, sorry to say."

Zach: *suspicious glare* "Sorry?"

Callie: "Yes, unfortunately for one of our previous employees, we've not seen her since some of Dr. Viper's venomous, mutant plant experiments infiltrated our premises a few hours ago and disemboweled her. You know, the usual thing."

Zach: *blinks in disbelief*

Callie: "Uh... not that you should be worried or anything. It's just... you know... our newer employees don't stick around as much as we would like them to?"

Zach: *fidgets in chair and looks toward the exit*

Callie: "Er.. Wait! Don't leave just yet. Uh... if you stay, we'll... uh, give you a raise in pay!"

Zach: "I think I should go..."

Callie: "How about a full week's vacation right off the bat? All paid-expense?"

Zach: "It was nice talking with you, heh... *gulp*... Bye, now--"

Callie: "We'll give you a body wash gift basket!"

Zach: *turns around*

Callie: *puts basket on desk* "It's lavenderrrrrr..."

Zach: "Count me in!"

God, I suck at comedy.
