Description
I can't remember when you arrived
I can't remember the look in your eyes
All I know is I scared myself and you
With a power of breath so untrue
Stood at the back falling to faint
Shaking all over without any complaint
Help me help me I repeated again
Lent on her shoulder I couldn't breathe then
You both sat me down holding my head
For life is so short but it couldn't be said
Gasping for breath holding onto my middle
As I mumbled in my head a lone little riddle
But it wasn't a riddle it was more like a prayer
A prayer that was calm and could get me there
When it was over I collapsed with my head
'This is it' i thought, 'the light means I'm dead'
You checked for my breathing I felt you near
Trying to hold me whilst covered with fear
I came around and you gave a small sigh
I smiled through gasps as your voice made me fly
You took me out and brought me around
Helped me be carried across ruged ground
So I tell you I Love You now more each day
Because Life seemed so short and Death was on it's way
But your touch and your closeness saved me from that
You saved me from dying and that's all that I'll ask.
