Clone Captain Fuse (CT-9257) is the leader of Tusk Company, a unit within the 53rd Special Operations Engineer Battalion. He was selected to lead his company as he was extremely well-versed in terms of explosives, mechanics, and tactical positioning of troopers. He utilised a DC-16B blaster shotgun in addition to a vibro-blade when in combat, and was also equipped with multiple remotely-detonated explosive charges that could be used for scuttling inoperable vehicles, accessing fortified compounds, demolition, or otherwise for anti-vehicle/personnel situations. Fuse's armour was decked out with a backpack, additional ammunition, a tactical light as well as a tool kit for conducting maintenance. He was renown for keeping a calm demeanour even in the most hostile of battlefields, being able to skilfully repair damaged republic vehicles whilst under the immense stress of keeping both himself and his men alive. Unfortunately for Fuse, he would face a painful death days before the end of the clone wars, after a walker he was repairing was struck by an AAT round, causing the vehicle to violently detonate and severely injure the Captain, succumbing to his wounds minutes after the incident.
