Description
I usually finish my work first and come up with the name and story afterwards, but I feel like I'm doing it the wrong way so I came up with a little story for this guy first. I didn't want to try anything too fancy so it's pretty basic. I just came up with my own version of a fire elemental.

Fire Elemental

Fire elementals are forest spirits who got caught in a forest fire. They're unable to physically die due to their arcane nature, but they cannot extinguish the fire either since their life supporting essence keeps the fire alive. Over time these spirits become increasingly jealous and angry towards their former kin and other living beings and eventually become what is generally regarded a fire elemental. They are not evil, but wish to share their unfortunate fate with others.

I wanted to depict a freshly "born" fire elemental, trying quench the fire in its arms.
