The first part of my entry for the Ben 10 Redesign contest. I'm going to be doing both Ben and Gwen as 10 year olds (this one) and them plus Kevin 5 years later. I'm also re-imagining the basic concept, just to mix things up a little bit. :3

In my AU, there is no Omnitrix, or any aliens for that matter. Instead, when Ben's on the roadtrip, he discovers that he has some weird mutation ability that allows him to take on several different "forms", which involve him morphing slightly and gaining a superpower or two. For example, his Fourarms form would make his skin redder, put two yellow dots under his eyes (Fourarm's other pair of eyes), and give him superstrength. I'm going to draw a few of his forms soon.

Gwen's still got magic. Yup. In this AU, its not because of alien heritage because, well, there aren't any aliens in this version. She's mostly the same as she was in the original series, it's in the next series when things start to change a bit for her. I decided that she should be wearing a skirt (actually, it's a skort because she's 10 and 10 year olds in skorts are adorable, but that's beside the point) because she didn't expect to be fighting mutant criminals with her magic powers all summer.
