Gan Caenn is a serious individual, determined to uphold the natural order of life and death. His dedication to his duty causes him to become vengeful to those who would dare to upset the balance, regardless of who it may be.
His view of the Seelie Court is one of mutual respect: he respects the boundaries of Elphyne and the laws that govern the Seelie faes. Otherwise, he expresses disinterest, as their business is not his own and the Seelie faes are not his responsibility to protect.
