Description Ayako
“Hello, cousins!” I yelled. The old man opened the door for me.
“Oh- err, didn’t know you were visiting, Ayako… chan,” Jijii said, choking out my name.
“They let me off probation in America and they wanted me to get the hell out of there. So I came here to help you guys work.”
“Oh. Okay… Kagome’s sick with heliopheobanititisia.”
“Really? What’s that?” I asked curiously. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t a disease, but whatever.
“A very, very contagious disease in which big folds of yellow skin form all over your body, only to fall off a few days later, over and over again.”
“Eew, can I see?” I asked. I liked to study those kinds of weird things.
“:Sweatdrop: Nope,” Jijii said, leading me to the kitchen. Kagome’s mom was in there, possibly cooking lunch. I saluted and Mrs. Higurashi jumped.
“Oh, it’s you Ayako. What- what did you do to your hair?” She asked. I stroked my spiky pink hair.
“Why, have you got a problem with it?”
“Not- not at all. What brings you here, anyways?”
“Oh, that. They kicked me out of America.”
“What did you do?”
“Me? Umm… weeelll… I basically found a bag of cash in the middle of a street and kept it. Apparently that’s a bad thing.” I don’t particularly mind the fact that none of my family anywhere aren’t afraid of me, except the younger ones, like Kagome and Souta.
It might be the fact that I had these weird tattoos since I was born. One on my right leg and whisker like ones on my face. Of course, my parents don’t particularly care, since they for some reason always thought I was a delinquent. Something to do with getting in to fights in elementary and junior high… Like they didn’t deserve it. Whatever.
“Okay, then, could you help me with the cooking?”
“Love to,” I replied sarcastically. I helped anyways. “So Kagome really has that weird disease—what was it now, Mrs. Higurashi?”
“Err, some really long disease…”
“What did it do again?”
“Nothing pretty that’s for sure.”
“Can I see her?”
“No, sorry, it’s a contagious disease, as far as I know.”
“Ah, okay, so I couldn’t even bring her food up?”
“Nope.”
“Ayako nee-chan!” Suddenly there was someone hugging my waist.
“Hey there, Souta-chan.” I pulled him off of me and wagged my finger at him. “No hugs.”
“Well, I think you’ll cheer Kagome nee-chan when she gets—I mean, when we tell her you’re here.”
“Eh? When she gets what?”
“Uhh—“ I frowned.
“Did something bad besides a disease happen to Kagome?”
“Nu nu nu! Of course not!” Souta replied unconvincingly. I crouched down.
“I’m going to interrogate you later.” I stood and brushed off my dark purple skirt and went back to helping Mrs. Higurashi. Well, the rest of my life would no doubt be a complete borefest. Yay.
