Description
Growing up I always really enjoyed reading books with a map of the fatasy world portrayed in them. There's something very immersive about that, if done right. For me it was primarily Conan the Barbarian books (never actually read LOTR, which may be what people associate with that kind of maps, though oddly enough I have enjoyed Silmarillion, got into at least some part of it) As I'm working towards restarting my webcomic-verse I hope to emulate that sort of storytelling. My initial attempts turned into a total failure, this I like better, though I'm still struggling. Watched a bunch of fantasy cartography tutorials, but there are some surprisingly difficult details to this kind of work.
