Description
Maiad(combination of the word "mayfly" and "naiad", which is another name for the nymph of a mayfly)
Bug/Water
Maiad spend their whole lives underwater, hiding from predating fish and feeding on debris on the waterbed. Their gills and tail fin help to propel them through water, out of danger, their claws build to quickly burrow and crawl out of sight. They eat and stay out of trouble until they are ready to evolve.
Ability : Water absorb, Water bubble
Merophly
(combination of the word "mayfly" and "ephemeroptera", the scientific name of the mayfly)
Bug/Flying
After emerging from the lake they hatched in, Merophly take to the sky to find others of their kind to mate with. They are extremely swift and volatile in the air in their urgent quest. They have no mouths and lost their hind legs as they even have no time to stop, eat or rest.
Ability : Adrenaline (fan made ability.. attack, special attack and speed are sharply boosted, defence decreases slightly for first 3 turns)
Ephemefly
(combination of the word "mayfly" and "ephemeral" which means short lasting)
Water/Ghost
Having reached the end of its short lifespan as a Merophly, Ephemefly wallows in its lost life, taking on the water typing of its home as an egg and its youth. They dwell near the surface of their lake, looking out for Maiad in the water.
Ability : Clear body, Cursed body
