I was inspired to make this bay by both watching a movie called Fury and playing a game called Day of Infamy. The M3A1, or also known as the grease gun, was a much cheaper alternative to the Thompson and was gonna replace the Thompson in world war two because of its reliability and lower price. The reason you don't see many of them when you play a world war 2 game or watch a world war 2 movie is that they were used near the end of the war and weren't replacing the Thompson quick enough to do a complete replacement.
