Yes, it was actually the second one. When started this project, I imagine that the angel was troubled. Many people don't actually consider the second option.

I absolutely *LOVE* this image. I just wanted to say, though, that it gives me a sort of double message.
First, I see an angel watching from on high over us poor humans, ready to swoop down and save us if we need it...
But then I see someone perched on a high ledge, contemplating jumping. Maybe that's a bit warped, but she looks kind of like she herself is ready to jump - and maybe needs a savior of her own...
