Here it is, finally! Part 1 of the redesign is finished, and here we have the updated ref for my fursona! His 'full' name is Bitcoon, but the shortened name "Bit" is still preferred. Did a lot of simplifying some annoying aspects of his design, finally gave him real shoulders and he's got a more squirrelly head shape that matches up with the other half of this redesign coming later.

What I'm doing is splitting up Bitcoon (my sona) from Bit (the character) so there's a clearer line between what's personal art (anything goes!) and what's canon. Bitcoon is keeping the classic color scheme and, aside from some changes to his fur patterns and body shape, should be pretty recognizable. As you'll see in the next submission, Bit is quite changed from this look, but it should really suit him well without totally making a new design of him.
