Description
This screenplay was written for an assignment in my Pre-Production class at RIC. The assignment was to take a short story from the internet and make a short storyboard movie out of it. The first step was to write a screenplay. I chose the short story 'Checkmate' from www.55fiction.com to adapt for a short movie. I essentially took the initial short story and expanded on it with my own ideas so it would last for about 3 minutes or so on screen.
