Description
So these are the original redesigns I had for three of the demigirls, Babel, Kenshi, and Cattelina. I had drawn these months ago, and I was originally going to ink and color these, but I figured basic concepts should just best basic sketches.

Cattelina was actually the first, and I was trying to mostly change her hairstyle to fit a more "farmgirl" look. I then thought about adding frills to her outfit, but then she wouldn't be wearing overalls, which detracts from her farmgirl look, and then I tried making her overalls with frills. It looks horrible. Her hairstyles not bad, but it makes her look way younger and she's supposed to be one of the more mature demigirls, so it kinda contradicts her nature. She does look cute, so maybe I'll use this design for a younger Cattelina or another bovine girl in general.

Most of you have seen the new Kenshi design and this was the first time I drew her, the sweater didn't look right to me here, plus covering the top of her pants completely made it look like the bottom didn't make sense. It looked off balanced. I had basically been looking for a new top for her, as I just felt the T-shirt was too simple, and so I tried to come up with some other ideas. Eventually I decided to go with a sweater, but I've never really draw those well, yknow, making them look like sweaters VS long sleeved shirts. This attempt was better, but still not the look I was going for. I also shortened her sleeves alittle to show off her colored hands better, as well as making the part around her next and shoulders and little more wavy and soft instead of looking so stuff.

As for Babel, her old outfit was meant to look sexy, seeing as she was a succubus, but her character has evolved greatly since her original creation and I felt a more "countess" or "motherly" type look would go better for her. So I made her two piece with an adhesive top that really didn't make sense, into more of a gown dress of sorts. She also now shares a little be a similarity in looks to her sister Angela with the band that wraps around her arms. I like this look alot, but after drawing it I also couldn't help but notice its very similar to the female priests in Disgaea. Maybe that's where my inspiration was coming from. I like it, but I feel its more of an "at home" outfit, so I may keep her other outfit for when she's traveling.
