I've always wanted to address this AND NOW I HAVE.In the first Persona game, first fight, your party has weapons. Not so weird.

A couple of your friends have ACTUAL weapons. Yukino starts with razor blades, she's a bit of a delinquent, so, alright. But Mark has a little hand axe. Why? It wouldn't have stuck out to me if they all had weapons but Nanjo starts with a mop, like he grabbed it quickly to defend himself.
Why is Mark carrying an axe? Where did he get an axe?
