𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: As a Luminar Lalande's is able to absorb, metabolize, store, and generate photokentic (celestial) energy which her people simply call "Light". She can use this energy to create flashes of light of various intensity, from the level of a flash light to a flash bang. She can also turn the energy into blasts of super-heated light that can burn through almost any substance. Turning the energy more inward she is able to fly, her body surrounded by an aura of light and create a barrier to shield from damage. Luminars are immortal in the sense that they do not age, do not die of natural causes, and are completely immune to heat and fire due to their Celestial nature.
𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: As an Exile, Lalande is bound to her form of flesh and not as powerful as a Star in their truest form. Unless calling on her 'Light' she is no more powerful than the average human.
𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Aliens? Celestial Beings? The living embodiment of an actual stars? The rumors abound when it comes to the Luminar, as a people they are isolationists and have yet to share much of anything with the universe at large. While her exile is self imposed, Lalande has no plans of returning to her people or settling down into the life that was chosen for her. A recent arrival on Earth, she is excited to experience all that this world has to offer.
𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Lalande is a Flare Star, which are known to undergo sporadic increases of brightness - this means that sometimes she calls on her 'Light' unwittingly or in a more powerful manner.
