This piece of artwork is based on the Autobot Medic "First Aid" who is one of the Protectobots. This is based on Transformers Season 3 which takes place after the movie. The old medic "Ratchet" died in an Autobot shuttle ambush by the Decepticons on a mission to Autobot City.First Aid will have been an apprentice to Ratchet from the end of Season 2 when the Protectobots were first introduced, and Ratchet at his mentor. First Aid is a pacifist who does not like fighting as seen in "The Ultimate Weapon" unlike his supposed mentor. This picture sees First Aid sat by a memorial statue of his mentor in deep thought.

Awww... I so love this... It's a very rare moment when any of the Autobots have a chance to mourn their mentors/comrades. That was lost in the live-action movies though...
Don Messeck was born in the same City I was born in... Of course I was born many years later, but he was just great! He is sadly missed by everyone who knew him personally, not just his fans.
First Aid was just too young to step into the role of CMO, but I think he did a pretty good job with what experience he did have. He learned from the best. *hugs to First Aid*

real sad but i think it will be better if first aid was looking (head bowed down) at the monument instead of sitting (looks like he's pissed at something or thinking a deep thought)

If there's one lil crit I have it's that you've slightly overused the 'chroming' or metallic effect and that kinda lets the piece down a bit. Other than that, I really do like it. Consider it on my favlist.
