The name comes from a combination of the words Poltergeist and Chick
The wispy smog wafting from the Pokémon's head appears to be excess spiritual energy billowing from its hollow body. It can also cause its feet to apparate at will, making its attacks very difficult to predict.
Its feathery down is cool to the touch, and does not warm up even when heat is applied. Trainers report it feels like the cold side of a soft pillow, making it an excellent cuddle partner on warm summer nights.
