History

Merpeople are great story tellers, they live for a long time and experience lots mostly under the cover of the shadows of great ships. This was how Caspian’s parents lived most of their young, free life. They parties with pirates, sunk ships and created vast legends in their wake. Being hip and current people, once they heard of a place opening up for monsters to gather, they found themselves swimming into the waters out of curiosity. They enjoyed living somewhere where they could safely start a family, although they still enjoyed the open waters and explored every Halloween.

Many, many years later and a good number of kids later, little Caspian was born. Growing up, he was more of a troublemaker, testing the limits of the borders of the town, until his parents would get warnings from the higher ups about their son’s reckless behavior. Eventually he became bored with swimming around the same waters around town. He favored more like his closest siblings, more landlubbers than an aquaphile. It’s not because he hated what he was fundamentally. He craved being like his parents, going out onto the open seas to explore all that the world has to offer, especially since it’s changed much since their time out and about.

Caspian excitedly awaits every Halloween when he can leave the place he finds way too small and see the other side (quite literally).
