Back when she was younger, Maddie was a wonderful/amazing fighter, giving her the impression that she could beat anyone and she was right...well, those her age that is. One fateful day, she picked a fight against a high-schooler due to an "attitude problem". 100% confident in herself, she made a statement that unbeknownst to her at the time, would haunt her in her sleep for years to come. Unfortunately, she could not back up her words this time, even more unfortunate for her, this high-schooler had an interesting sense of punishment. This event in her past shattered her pride as a fighter, and was a grim indicator of what her soon-to-be future would bring about.
